Welcome to 8 Moves: Transform Your Growth with our spiritual strategy inspired by creation’s rhythms and designed to help you tune in to your design and purpose. The name “8 Moves” reflects eight themes of the story of creation—Light, Water, Land, Time, Life, Work, Rest, and Rebirth. Together we can connect to the story of creation, these moves guide us to grow in harmony with Creation’s design, to find clarity, renewal, and purpose in every area of life. Each move reveals a deeper truth about who we are and how we live:
1. Light – Perspective and Vision: This is the beginning of understanding, Light illuminates our path, awakens us to truth, and clarifies purpose.
2. Water – Flow and Sustenance: Just as water nourishes our life, it symbolizes growth, renewal, and the realities of life that sustain us.
3. Land – Strength and Stability: Land represents our inheritance, the foundation of life, and the power to stand firm, rooted in God’s truth and promises.
4. Time – Rhythm and Opportunity: Time introduces the sacred balance of work and rest, inviting us to step into the cadence of the creation cycles, in all that we do.
5. Life – Vitality and Flourishing: Life points us to the joy of living fully, reflecting the spiritual abundance we have received and nurturing growth in ourselves and others.
6. Work – Purpose and Contribution: Work honors God’s call to serve others and steward creation with love, diligence, and creativity.
7. Rest – Renewal and Trust: Rest reminds us of life’s sufficiency, inviting us to pause and honor the seventh day, find peace, and recognize the grace provided.
8. Rebirth – Transformation and Hope: Rebirth reflects the power of renewal, as we rise from life’s struggles with the hope of new beginnings.
This is a Holistic Journey, contributing to four core human traits: Mind, Strength, Heart, and Soul; 8 Moves connects with the whole person:
• Mind (Discernment): Cultivating clarity, wisdom, and focus through reflection and study.
• Strength (Humility): Building resilience and discipline to stay grounded in faith and truth.
• Heart (Connection): Nurturing relationships and cultivating empathy, love, and unity.
• Soul (Transformation): Embracing spiritual renewal, aligning with God’s purposes, and finding peace.
