Connection: Life includes Sacrifice and Abundance—Life in Jesus invites us to move from existence to purposeful living. Abundant life comes through sacrificial giving, reminding us that life is richer when we live it for others.
Life Science: Life manifests through complex interactions among cells, tissues, and organs, creating a dynamic state of growth and adaptation. All living beings are part of interconnected webs of existence.
Life as a Symbol: Life represents vitality and purpose. Spiritually, it calls us to embrace God’s gift of life with gratitude, recognizing that our lives are interconnected with others in purpose and meaning.

Bible: “In him was life, and the life was the light of men” (John 1:4 ESV).
“Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature” (Genesis 2:7 ESV).
Comment: Just as God breathed life into Adam, Jesus, the source of all life, brings spiritual and eternal life. This move calls us to receive this life fully, not just as existence but as a transformative, purposeful connection to our Creator.
The Narrative: We encounter relational challenges that invite us to grow in empathy, deepening our capacity for connection and love.
Practices: Life points to vitality, relationships, and growth. These disciplines focus on connecting with God, others, and creation:
Gratitude: Recognizing the life-giving goodness of God in all things.
Community: Actively engaging in relationships that foster life and love.
Hospitality: Welcoming others into the life God has given, sharing joy and provision.
Blessing: Speaking words of life and encouragement over others.
Thesis: “Life flourishes through connection—when our hearts align with God’s, we cultivate love, compassion, and community, reflecting His relational nature.”
