“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace” (1 Peter 4:10 ESV).
“For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building” (1 Corinthians 3:9 ESV).
God has given us unique gifts and abilities, not only for us, but to also serve one another. We are stewards of His grace. Take time to recognize all that we have: talents, time, and resources, then contribute them to the kingdom. This faithful act of service will bring you feelings of significance.
Paul refers to us as “God’s fellow workers,” reminding us that we are partners in the mission of God on earth. Fields need tending and buildings need maintenance. God invites us to live out our lives connected to this partnership. All to contribute to God’s bigger plan of transformation and growth.
Journaling: What abilities do you feel God has given you? How can you use your gifts to serve others? What everyday actions can you make today?
Prayer: Lord, thank You for the gifts You have placed in me. Help me to use them with wisdom. Give me the wisdom to find the opportunities around me that will contribute to Your kingdom. Amen.
