Do your spiritual practices inform your belief in truth and your ability to make wise decisions? Are your spiritual practices considering the natural cycles of life: years, seasons, months, weeks, and days? How does your practice make your home better and benefit your family? Does your practice include care for life and the environment? I know the list is long but what about community and church? And lastly, consider rest and creativity. That’s a lot to think about. Welcome to my work and study in the study of Christian spirituality.
For more information, take a look at the list of Spiritual practices I recently posted. https://glenmcwherter.com/spiritual-practices-survey/ Take the survey if you like. Just text your answers to me. Thanks for thinking about this stuff, some people think its pretty important.
Blessings,
Glen
‘We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love which you have for all the saints; because of the hope reserved for you in heaven, of which you previously heard in the word of truth, the gospel which has come to you, just as in all the world also it is bearing fruit and increasing, even as it has been doing in you also since the day you heard it and understood the grace of God in truth; just as you learned it from Epaphras, our beloved fellow bond-servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on our behalf, and he also informed us of your love in the Spirit. ‘ Colossians 1:3-8 https://my.bible.com/bible/2692/COL.1.3-8
